Cheeri-Oats became the world's first ready-to-eat oat cereal. It has gained wide
fame and instant recognition because of its letter "O" shape and delicious flavour.

The name is changed to Cheerios from Cheeri-Oats, hence: "Cheerios—the first ready-to-eat
cereal."
- 1953
The Cheerios package takes on a new look; strawberries are shown atop a heaping
bowl of Cheerios and a single Cheerio is used to dot the "i" in Cheerios. Volume
of Cheerios purchased doubles in 10 years.

Honey Nut Cheerios introduced.

Apple Cinnamon Cheerios introduced.

Multi-Grain Cheerios introduced.

Fruity Cheerios introduced.
